What is Belief?

Belief is the state of mind in which a person thinks something to be the case regardless of empirical evidence to prove that something is the case with factual certainty.

  • Belief is an inner knowing BEFORE the evidence appears.
  • Belief is having TRUST, FAITH, or CONFIDENCE in someone or something.
  • Belief builds your foundation for CONFIDENCE, CERTAINTY and CONVICTION.

The results of BELIEF:

  • Commitment
  • Resolution
  • Resolve
  • Determination
  • Action
  • Perseverance
  • Follow through
  • Success!

The most challenging aspect of life is what happens between our ears. What voice are you listening to; those voices of self-doubt, fear, self-sabotage, and all those limiting beliefs we have been carrying around for decades? Your belief determines your thoughts and actions and your level of belief will determine the outcome of any and all aspects of your life.

I believe the best way to move forward beyond our fears and self-doubt is plant new seeds of belief and allow the old beliefs, fears and self-doubt to die by starvation. When you plant those new seeds, water them with positive thoughts and energy, over time the old ones will die of starvation. Focus on what you want more of and what you do not want will fall away.

It’s time for a fresh start.

It’s time to plant new seeds.

It’s time to write the next chapter of your story with beliefs that you consciously choose to have, rather than beliefs that were given to you.

What will your next chapter look like? You have the pen.

Daily Mantra:

Explore how you feel when you speak these things aloud daily.

  • My belief system dictates my actions and my results.
  • Failure is nothing but an opportunity for growth.
  • Growth is uncomfortable, until I decide to enjoy it.
  • I deserve to win.
  • I deserve the best.
  • I observe my language and speak life into myself and others.
  • I have made a decision to grow, to change and to empower others.
  • I BELIEVE I can WIN!
  • I BELIEVE I am in the right place and at the right time.
  • I am ready!
  • I will succeed!
  • I will win!
  • I am the one I’ve been looking for!

Exploring Core Beliefs: Old and New

Immerse yourself in your purpose and mission and you will receive all that is needed to maintain and strengthen that mission.

  • Old Belief: Intimacy requires two people and is experienced through physical sensation. There has always been a heavy price to pay for intimacy; drama, emotional rollercoaster from extreme highs to extreme lows, emotional state was dependent on the other person.
  • New Belief: Intimacy is experienced in solitude and is a tool to facilitate our experience as a spiritual being. When we are in a state of intimacy we can be more effective in doing the work that we are to do. Intimacy with another human is the aligning and melting of our energy centers. This can be done with or without physical intimacy and should always have pure intention as our motivation.

  • Old Belief: Money comes to those who work hard at something they do not thoroughly enjoy, but it’s worth it because money makes me happy.
  • New Belief: When you remain committed and true to your mission, you will be taken care of and have everything you need to be happy and prosperous.

Who Am I?

  • Old Belief:  I am someone who wants to help others, but I am limited by the system of beliefs that this physical reality and this culture impose on me. It is difficult to take care of others and myself at the same time.
  • New Belief: I am a spirit that has chosen to take a human body to carry out my mission and purpose. I am immune to suffering as soon as I recognize myself. I am like a plant rooted in the soil in the ocean, but free to sway with the ocean currents as they come or like a tree, rooted in the earth, and also flexible to sway in the wind.
